Colour Scheme

·      Purple, green, black- my gym’s colours and quite contrasting colours (opposite end of the colour wheel) and pop out nicely

·      inviting colours

·      it will have different perspectives of the sport from gymnasts to coaches – intriguing for gymnasts to see how coaches view the sport compared to them

·      personal experiences growing up in gymnastics

·      talking about the importance of the sport not just for being the best

Cover Lines

·      one of my cover lines will be about men/boys in gymnastics where I will have a q&a with one of my male coaches who did gymnastics, and it will have statistics and facts about male gymnasts this will challenge the stereotype of gymnastics being just for girls.

·      I will talk about the difference between artistic and rhythmic gymnastics and the different apparatus there is and what you do and which ones I enjoy for example bars beam floor which is my favorite because of the song and tumbling and vault.

·      top ten gymnasts in this cover line I will speak about the most impressive gymnasts and what makes them very impressive this could be a specific skill or scoring from a competition this challenges the stereotype of women being weak. such as Katelyn Ohashi, Simone Biles, Claudia frangipani, Nadia Comaneci

·      ageism in gymnastics – what age people feel you must stop gymnastics and why I feel this shouldn’t be a rule as even I you just train and stretch there is many benefits later in life and it increases serotonin and flexibility and a way to feel free and focused on something you love this would challenge the stereotype of being to old to do gymnastics (talk about the 93 yr. old gymnasts) also younger people in gymnastics being pushed to hard I would tell them to enjoy the sport as a hobby and don’t be hard on themselves if they aren’t the best as they should focus on themselves

 -I will use a similar font for my masthead as its easy to read and its very bold to make it attractive for the reader

§  I like quite curly fonts as it seems more personalized for the reader
